Black Women Are Supreme!

Black Women Are Supreme! Black women are SUPREME! Black women are SUPREME! Black women are SUPREME! Black women are SUPREME! Black women are SUPREME! Black women are SUPREME! Literally and figuratively…… I can say this a million times and it still wouldn’t be enough! BLACK WOMEN ARE SUPREME! I hope by now everyone knows the name, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson! President Biden nominated Judge Jackson for the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court is the highest court in the land! Judge Jackson is the first Black Woman to be nominated in the court’s 233-year history! TRANSLATION: A BLACK WOMAN HAS BEEN NOMINATED TO THE HIGHEST COURT! Attending college and meeting such wonderful women at ULM has been one of greatest influences in my life. I’m not saying you have to attend college or join a sorority to be successful. I do encourage you to find your tribe, circle, support, sisterhood of like women, because birds of a feather flock together and iron definitely sharpens iron.

Happy 30th Birthday

Dear Whitley, Today is your 30th birthday & you should be incredibly excited & proud of yourself! You’ve encountered a lot and you’ve accomplished a lot. Most importantly, no matter how difficult life became you NEVER gave up. You’ve always been so resilient. I can’t say this enough, you should really be proud of yourself. You should be most proud that you proved so many people wrong. You became the exception to so many statistics. No jail. No drugs. No babies. No complacency. Who would have thought you’d graduate from college; not once, but twice? Who would have thought you’d learn to own a business? You’ve done well finding your way, Whitley. You are the type of woman younger Whitley...
